A railroad prototype modeler meet is nothing without participants and we are happy to report solid attendance at the 2011 NEFF RPM event on October 1st. The NEFF RPM staff thanks everyone for attending and making this a memorable event.

Despite the few technical glitches all went well. About 100 people participated in this event, with attendees coming from eight states as well as Quebec! Not bad for a one-day meet on the same weekend as competing rail and modeling events. After expenses, the event raised over $500 for the Somerset County 4-H Scale Modelers Club.

About 200 models were on display. Several scales were represented and modeling efforts spanned most of a century of railroading. A couple modelers who attended have set up galleries with images from the event.

Please mark your calendars now to attend the 2012 event on October 6th, the first Saturday. The event will again be held at Ted Blum 4-H Center in Bridgewater , NJ. Bring a friend or two and some models to display. We'll take care of presentations and another buffet to enjoy. Bookmark this page and check back in May of 2012 for updates.

Two other meets in the region are on the calendar before the next Fallen Flags RPM event. Maybe one these will also fit your schedule.

Thanks again for making this a successful event. We will see you in October 2012!
